Valérie received her Masters of Arts in Forensic Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She works with groups and individuals from diverse populations with various backgrounds.

Clinical Focus

Valérie has worked with clients who have experienced a wide range of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD.
 

She has also worked with clients who expressed specific concerns, such as substance abuse, domestic violence, and sexual abuse.

Therapeutic Approach

Valérie's approach is mostly a blend of person-centered theory that includes evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Family Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.

Valérie believes that an important part of the therapeutic relationship is to help the clients empower themselves. It is also to create an environment that is safe and supportive in order to promote healthy healing.

Valérie is supervised by Dr. Rachel Hill
